We know, just as a fact, that there are people in the world who truly believe that cats are aloof, unsociable creatures. Of course, we, as cat owners, know that is not true. We know that cats not only love, they love hard. And still, even know we know this, sometimes, the things that we see cats do, the affection that we see them showing, takes us off guard and hits us right in the feels. 

It could be cats showing affection to humans, coming to our aid exactly when we need them the most. And it could be things like today's story, where cats show love to other cats. Except that is an oversimplification of what we are about to show you today. Then again, we're not sure that we can quite capture in words just how emotional this story made us. So, we'll just tell it to you exactly how it is and let you read the rest. A rescued orphaned kitten gets adopted by a rescued momma cat who had lost her kittens. Prepare the tissues, friends.

    OP Distressed_damsel236 Storytime: A week ago, I met one of the tiniest kittens I've ever seen. He'd been abandoned and had no mother in sight. He was cold, hungry, and crying nonstop, so I brought him home and started bottle feeding him around the clock. I honestly wasn't sure if he'd make it, but he fought so hard for every single meal.   • And then there are people who still say that cats are not social creatures. It is not that they are not social. It's that cats are simply picky about who they show love to. But they have so, so much love to give. That is a fact.

  • It's not just her who needed him. They both needed each other. And as difficult as it may have been, we are so happy that you kept the two of them together. In all honesty, we hope that they stay together until the end in their forever home. They're family at this point. Real family.
